Calling All Hockey Moms – It’s Your Time to Shine!
From tying skates before sunrise to cheering after the final buzzer, Hockey Moms are the heart of the hockey community. And “Hockey Mom” means more than just moms—it’s any adult who plays the role of Chief Hockey Officer: dads, grandparents, guardians, aunts, uncles, or family members who make hockey possible for young athletes. Now it’s your chance to step into the spotlight.
How to Enter
Nominations are open through midnight on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
Tell us what makes you—or the Hockey Mom in your life—the ultimate All-Star. Share your favorite Hockey Mom moments, game-day traditions, team potluck secrets, and more. Make us laugh, make us cry, and most importantly—show us why Hockey Moms are the backbone of the sport.
Be Part of the Action - Key Dates & Events
- October 20, 2025: Five Finalists announced live on WCCO Radio and named to the 2026 Hockey Mom All-Star Team.
- November 13, 2025: Hockey Mom Face-Off at Mall of America’s Huntington® Bank Rotunda, hosted by Vineeta Sawkar and Kristi Plante, where finalists compete for the title of 2026 Hockey Mom of the Year.
- First 100 Entrants: Receive an exclusive invite to the Hockey Mom Face-off Reception at Mall of America, plus a special Hockey Mom gift.
Everyone Wins!
- All eligible entrants will receive a commemorative Hockey Mom All-Star item. Finalists and the winner will receive elevated prize packages, VIP experiences, and recognition during World Juniors.
A Few Final Notes
- Entries must be completed by the Hockey Mom herself (self-nomination only).
- Open to adults (18+) in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
- “Hockey Mom” is inclusive—moms, dads, grandparents, guardians, aunts, uncles—anyone who plays the role of Chief Hockey Officer is welcome.
- The first 100 entrants will receive an invite to the Hockey Mom Face-off Reception at Mall of America on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
- Five finalists will be announced live on WCCO Radio, Monday, October 20, 2025, and will compete at the Face-Off event at Mall of America.
