Volunteer FAQs
Overview
Overview
What do volunteers do?

For each event, we have a variety of volunteer opportunities, such as assisting with directions at transportation hubs and in skyways, greeting fans at the venue and supporting ancillary events.

Why are volunteers so important for mega events?

For large events, we welcome tens of thousands of guests to our region. Whether they are visiting Minnesota for the first time or have been here many times before, we want to keep them coming back to our great state. Our volunteers are often the first point of contact for visitors and help ensure their experience in the Land of 10,000 Lakes is an enjoyable one.

What events can I volunteer for?

Sign up to be a volunteer for the 2026 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. This is the 50th anniversary of the IIHF tournament.
