COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Single-game tickets for the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 10:00 a.m. CT at iihf.com/en/events/2026/wm20.
The iconic IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship showcases the best men’s ice hockey players in the world under 20 years of age competing for the gold medal. The tournament, which features the future stars of the NHL, will be held from Dec. 26, 2025 – Jan. 5, 2026, in Minnesota at Saint Paul’s Grand Casino Arena, home of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild and PWHL’s Minnesota Frost, and 3M Arena at Mariucci on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis. 
 
 Single-game tickets will be available for all preliminary round and quarterfinal games. Medal round ticket packages (semifinals, bronze and gold-medal games) will be released at a later date. Fans can also purchase all-session, group-play packages and country-specific mini packs, which are currently on sale.
 
 The 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship marks the 50th edition of the event and the seventh time the U.S. has served as host. The first-ever U.S. World Juniors host site was Minneapolis/Saint Paul in 1982, followed by Anchorage, Alaska, in 1989; Boston in 1996; Grand Forks, North Dakota, in 2005; and Buffalo, New York, in both 2011 and 2018.
